This summer, Evel’s hometown of Butte will host Evel Knievel Days. The community has a storied historic past in copper mining and features the largest National Historic Landmark District in the West

City boosters and sponsors are laying out the welcome mat for Evel’s fans. The celebration will feature fun events like a parade, poker run, social, fireworks, lots of music, dare-devil stunts, vendors, classic motorcycle & car show.

The event in Butte is timed to attract riders on their way to Sturgis or visitors cruising through the Big Sky Country of Montana. Butte is located just three hours away from Yellowstone National Park and five hours away from Glacier National Park.

Come to Butte this summer and see where the man who inspired a nation for years with his daredevil stunts like the bus jump at Wembley Stadium in London, the jump of the Fountains at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas or the attempt to jump the Snake River Canyon in Idaho. See where Evel took his first jumps and honed his nerves of steel, and learn about how he got started in the daredevil business.
